A captivating blend of singer-songwriter folk, electronic textures, and alternative edges, Nicki's music offers listeners a unique, engaging experience that blends depth with intrigue. Currently based in Denver, CO, she draws inspiration from her personal experiences, focusing on themes of mental health, queer identity, and the vibrant chaos of life. Influenced by the sounds of Radiohead, boygenius, and The Smile, Nicki and drummer Nick Schell form a dynamic duo known for their use of intriguing time signatures, driving rhythms, and poignant vocals. The duo's sound is further enriched by Nicki’s inventive use of delay and distinctive fingerstyle guitar work, which creates a hypnotic, atmospheric depth—perfectly complemented by Nick’s dynamic and inventive drumming style. Their most recent release is the double single, “readtheroom” & “liability” released on 2/13 via Mean World Records.

The two have played a number of shows in Denver opening up for artists like Hey, Nothing, PACKS, and Goody Grace. They played Treefort Fest in Boise, ID & are set to play Garden Fest in Omaha (5/9) as well as UMS & Blucifer in Denver at the end of July.
